Internet damaging students' ability for academic study

Students are losing the capacity for academic study because constant use of the internet is "rewiring" their brains, say experts.
The web encourages users to dart between pages instead of concentrating on one source such as a book, they claim.
This leaves the majority incapable of reading and writing at length.
The Virtual Revolution on BBC2 next week will also claim: "Thousands of young internet users will suffer mental problems within three years."
